Survey of Influence Effectiveness

The Survey of Influence Effectiveness is a multidimensional survey that identifies how effectively an individual influences others by comparing self-perceptions to the perceptions of others.

Selected respondents (including managers, colleagues, and direct reports) complete questionnaires, and their responses are combined with self responses to produce a personalized feedback report. The report gives a clear picture of the individual's most effective means of influencing others and points out areas for improvement. Bottom line: Professionals can use this knowledge to produce better results from interactions with others.

Report Contents:

  • An overview of ethical and unethical influence tactics and power sources

  • A profile of the responses, with scores for appropriateness, frequency, and effectiveness in the use of each tactic

  • An analysis of the deviations in scores, with specific recommendations for building effectiveness

  • The recommendations of managers, colleagues, and direct reports

  • An overall effectiveness rating
